Calvin obtained his Master in Actuarial Science from Macquarie University and has under a decade of experience in the Fund Administration Industry. Calvin joined Ascent Group in 2019 and has contributed to the growth of ASCENT’s Fund Administration business and ASCENT’s Fintech SaaS business. He has handled large institutional clients throughout his career and brings to the firm his extensive technical knowledge. He leads the development of ASCENT SaaS projects in the alternative investment space.

Wei Xiang graduated with a BSc in Business and joined ASCENT with nearly a decade of experience in client servicing and has diverse exposure in the Hedge Fund space. He began his career with BNY Mellon before advancing to another leading fund administrator in which he held a key operational role overseeing a large team and was chiefly responsible for achieving service excellence for over 60 funds. With his operational knowledge, efficiency, and critical thinking, Wei Xiang provides advice that is crucial in effective problem-solving for both his team and clients.

Hamid has over 14 years of experience in IT software development including programming, design, implementation of systems, training, and end-to-end management of projects with international clients and industry leaders. Hamid has worked within tight deadlines for major SaaS developments and has delivered SaaS products on time. Hamid is in charge of a team of front-end and back-end engineers. He also leads a team of data scientists to assist with data structuring. Hamid’s portfolio includes the development, deployment, and administration of tools in the domains of financial analysis, resource scheduling, evaluation & assessment, and various data-driven analysis & support systems. Hamid is well-skilled to develop new or improving existing solutions and integrating the latest technology in the market.

Hetal brings over 15 years of professional experience in leading cross-functional teams to plan, build, launch, and manage world-class SaaS innovations. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Business Computing & Information Technology from the University of Wales, UK. Prior to joining ASCENT, Hetal was a product manager with a leading information technology & services company. Hetal has led multiple large projects in ASCENT and has facilitated the success of projects with her extensive professional experience in project management.
